Marji GravettMarji Gravett received a BS in Fine and Commercial Art from Lamar University, Beaumont, TX. The artist has concentrated her efforts in the fine art field. Marji has been extensively involved in the arts in the New Castle County area since 1970. She has developed courses for all ages in Acrylic Painting, Drawing, and Watercolor. She has conducted workshops, co-owned a painting and craft gallery, conducted snow-fence art shows, and engaged in art activities with the handicapped through “Special Arts”. Marji developed the “Nature Babies” series of watercolors, first introduced in a solo show in the Esther Shallcross Marshall Gallery at the Center for the Creative Arts (CCArts), in December, 1987. This series depicts tiny children who dwell in woodland and garden plants. |
