Susan Brabeau

What strikes the viewer about Susan's work is her uncanny talent for capturing people. The moods, their idiosyncrasies and their body language. The artist enables us to eavesdrop on a series of private moments that have an immediacy even beyond photography or film.

Susan is a self taught artist, painting for fun and relaxation while working on Broadway and touring. When she decided to give up her career to have a family, painting became her creative outlet. She was offered a huge mural project at popular Micelli's restaurant at University City in Los Angeles. Her mural won critical acclaim, being regularly used a background to TV and other movie sets, and was published in the book, "Wall Art".
